Milka Duno

Talent, beauty, brains and competitive are just a few of the adjectives that define the image of Milka Duno. Born in Caracas, Venezuela and residing in Miami, Florida, Milka demonstrated from an early age a desire to achieve and the dedication necessary to succeed. As a young woman she quickly recognized the value of education as the first step on her path to fulfilling her dreams.

In addition to being one of the most successful female sportscar racers in history, Milka is also a qualified Naval Engineer with four master's degrees - in Organizational Development, Naval Architecture, Fishing and Aquaculture and Maritime Business – earning the last three degrees simultaneously.

Milka is the first Latin American women driver ever to be classified "expert", and her professional driving career reaches new heights each year. She has participated in many international races and has driven a wide selection of race cars, including the Porsche Super Cup, Ferrari Challenge F-355, Formula 2000 Dodge, Reynard Dodge 98E, Panoz GT-RA, Dodge Viper GTS, Coloni Nissan CN1/C, Reynard-Judd 01-Q, Lola B2K/40/Judd, Dome S-101/Judd, Panoz Mugen LMP 900, Pontiac Riley Daytona Prototype and Honda Dallara Indy Car.

She also just completed filming her first major motion picture role. Milka plays the role of Kellie “Gearbox,” a race car driver, in the highly anticipated Speed Racer movie that is based on the 1960’s classic animated series. The Warner Bros. movie is scheduled for release on May 9, 2008. At the same time her bilingual kids book, "Go, Milka, Go!" hits stores. The book depicts her as a cartoon character teaching the importance of education to children of all ages.
